The Fat Liberation feed

Welcome to Big Liberty! As a service to fat bloggers of every political stripe, we’ve put together the Fat Liberation feed. Originally started by fat libertarians, we recognized the need for a more politically balanced viewpoint of fat politics than allowed by the current status quo.

We want to stress anti-elitism on this feed: we don’t think we’re smarter than you, though we do request that all blogs on this feed have a no diet talk, no WLS policy. We want to hear your opinions, we want to know why you think what you think, without fear of being thrown off the feed without warning, unless you engage in trolling. We also don’t mind posts that are ‘off-topic;’ life isn’t always on-topic, and important ideas which can apply to the fat liberation movement aren’t always ideas that just have to do with fat, but apply more generally.

How do I request to add my blog to the feed?

Just send a link to your blog to big dot liberty at gmail dot com, with a short note about why you’d like to be included on the feed.

How do I add the feed to my blog?

There are several tutorials out there for adding RSS feeds to blogs. Usually you need to go into your dashboard or page layout settings, and configure some kind of RSS widget to point to the Fat Liberation URL: http://feeds.feedburner.com/FatLiberation

Does this feed have rules?

Yes. Anyone engaging in trolling will not be allowed to remain on the feed, regardless of how long they’ve been on it.

Perhaps this section needs editing in light of recent events. (If people are going to join the feed, they deserve to know the truth upfront, not after the fact.)

True. So amended.
