About
Big Liberty exists as a voice for:
- All people who believe in Size Acceptance
- Those who hate junk science or baloney, and want to bust it
- Aspies
- Those who have suffered abuse
- Libertarians, Objectivists, and Independents who love freedom and want to, at all costs, preserve that freedom
- Free-market capitalists
NOTE: You don’t have to be any of these things to read and comment on my blog. But please, when commenting, show civility at all times. Else your comment will be deleted and you will be blocked from making any further comments.
Big Liberty is written by a 25 year-old woman living in Massachusetts, USA. She is an Aspie, a recoverer from an abusive past, fat, and a Libertarian/Objectivist.
She has degrees in mathematics and physics, and works as a project manager at a small software company. She writes science fiction (and this blog) in her spare time (which isn’t much).
She also sings coloratura soprano, and for the past two years has been chipping away at an original album.

Sorry about leaving this comment here, but you closed the comments on your latest post. I just wanted to say that I know what it’s like to hold unpopular opinions. Sometimes I feel really out of place in the Fatosphere because I’m not a liberal, and it seems like the vast majority of FA bloggers are. I love reading your blog, and I certainly don’t plan on stopping. I think that as a movement FA really needs to work on ferreting out what it stands for, and what is simply a related topic, not central to the movement.

That’s okay, limor.
I’m sorry I closed the comments, I’m really got sick to my stomach with that last post. Some things needed to be said, and I wanted to keep comments open as long as possible, but I was really getting distracted and knew that I needed to just put it aside for a while, you know?
I’m glad you’ll keep reading it. If you have a blog, let me know! I’d be interested in seeing it.
